The Let’s Learn Online website was co-founded by Rafat Shantir and Mutaz Tamimi, who each have 10+ years of experience in the field of education. Rafat and Mutaz, two Palestinians currently living in Germany, founded and managed an educational and cultural center called The Excellence Center in Palestine in 2009, and subsequently founded Go Palestine and the Excellence Center in Europe-Germany. They have designed and organized internship, volunteer, and educational programs in both Palestine and Germany.  

Rafat holds a bachelor’s degree of business administration from Hebron University in Palestine and a master’s degree in International Business from Aalen University in Germany. Rafat worked as an activities coordinator and manager of two non-profit organizations in Hebron city and then as a social worker in an NGO in the city of Halle, Germany. He currently manages the Excellence Center in Europe.  

Mutaz holds a bachelor’s degree of law from Aleppo University in Syria and a master’s degree in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (L.L.M) from Europa University in Frankfurt Oder in Germany. Mutaz worked as a lawyer and legal advisor for four years, as a social worker in an NGO in the city of Berlin, and as project coordinator in an NGO in the city of Halle. Mutaz is a co-founder of the Excellence Center in Europe.
